The calculator determines the difference between your date of birth and today (or a chosen target date) as full years, months and days. Months of different lengths and leap years are handled correctly — exactly the way age is stated in everyday life.
10,000 days is roughly 27 years and 4 months. The 10,000th day of life therefore falls around age 27 and is a popular reason to celebrate an unusual "birthday". The calculator shows you the exact date of your next round day of life.
By default the calculator counts up to today. If you enter a future target date, it also shows a countdown — for example to a milestone birthday, an exam or a holiday. If the target date is in the past, it calculates your age as of that exact date.
No. The calculator works on a daily basis using the calendar date. The exact time of birth is not included because it is irrelevant to age, days lived and weekday. Day-level accuracy is entirely sufficient for the usual figures.
