Calculations

All calculations on this website are performed entirely in your browser (client-side). No input data is transmitted to our servers or third parties. Your data never leaves your device.

Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. These include:

• Hostname of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. Data collection is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Advertising and Third Parties

This website displays no advertising and embeds no ad networks. In particular, no Google services (such as Google AdSense) or other third-party services are loaded. As a result, no data is transmitted to third parties for advertising purposes, and no tracking or personalization cookies are set.

6. Price calculators for businesses

Besides the free calculators, we offer businesses a paid price calculator to embed in their own website (rechenportal.de/fuer-unternehmen). The live demo runs entirely in your browser; nothing is sent until you start a booking.

Business customers: we process company name, e-mail address for enquiries, link to your privacy policy, billing address, VAT ID if given, your calculator settings and logo to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet statutory retention duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). When you enter a business e-mail address in the booking dialog, our server reads the public homepage of that domain to suggest name, logo, colour and privacy link, and sends the public homepage text (not your e-mail address) to an AI service (Vercel AI Gateway, Vercel Inc., USA, with models by Anthropic PBC, USA) to draft a matching calculator; nothing is stored before you complete the booking. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland (card data is entered with and processed by Stripe only); e-mails are sent via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France); logos and custom calculators are stored with Upstash, Inc. (USA, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) on servers in Frankfurt. Logos and custom calculators are deleted automatically when the contract ends; other settings are part of the subscription record and are kept with billing records only as long as required by law.

Source of visits (no cookies): links to our offer page, e.g. from search ads or letters, may carry a source tag (such as ?src=google-handwerk). We then count per month and source how often the page was opened, the demo used, the booking dialog opened and the payment page reached – totals only, no IP address, no identifier, no cookies, nothing stored on your device. If you book, the source tag is stored with your subscription (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our search ads run without a Google tag and without automatic click IDs.

Advertising by post to businesses: we introduce our price calculator to selected businesses by letter. We process company name, address, trade, website and, if named in the legal notice, the name of the managing director or contact person. These come from public sources: the legal notice (Impressum) of your website and your Google Maps business listing (retrieved via DataForSEO OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia). For the personal preview we also take logo and brand colour from your website. To check whether a price calculator fits your business, the public text of your homepage and legal notice was rated automatically by an AI service (Vercel AI Gateway, Vercel Inc., USA, with models by Anthropic PBC, USA). Legal basis is our legitimate interest in direct marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Recital 47). Letters are printed and posted by a mailing service on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR) and Deutsche Post. The preview is stored with Upstash and deleted automatically after 120 days; we only count how often it is opened, not by whom. If you do not reply, we delete your data at the latest six months after sending. Right to object: you may object to the use of your data for advertising at any time without giving reasons (Art. 21(2) GDPR), by e-mail to kontakt@rechenportal.de or by post. We then delete your data and keep only company name and address on a block list so that you receive no further mail from us.

Visitors of our customers' websites: if you use a price calculator on a customer's website, that business is the controller and we act as its processor (Art. 28 GDPR). Loading the calculator transmits your IP address; no cookies are set. If you send an enquiry, we forward your details by e-mail to the business and do not store it ourselves. Processing takes place on servers in Frankfurt; our host Vercel Inc. (USA) is bound by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
